Emma grew up on the North Shore of Auckland City and enjoyed an active school life from an early age. Emma competed in cricket, soccer, waterpolo and netball for over six years and reached regional teams for cricket, netball and waterpolo.
Emma studied at the University of Otago completing a Bachelor of Physical Education, majoring in Exercise Science and Exercise Prescription and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition.
Alongside study, Emma worked at a small personal training studio for over three years. There, she quickly became a senior trainer for the company, conducting postural assessments, nutritional consultations and helping clients who needed specific rehabilitative requirements. Emma often had a waiting list of people wanting to train with her. Emma is a CHEK certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach, CHEK Exercise Coach and has undergone multiple Masterclass seminars in Endocrinology specialising in Adrenal Fatigue, gonadal dysfunctions and thyroid issues. These courses, clients and own experiences have helped her to understand the holistic nature of health and, in combination with her degrees, have helped her to reach success with her clients.
